Council introduces sprinkler legislationPublished 01/09/07
New homes built in Annapolis' Historic District would be required to have sprinkler systems under a bill introduced at last night's City Council meeting. Alderman David Cordle, R-Ward 5, introduced the first of at least three fire safety bills expected in the coming weeks. Alderman Richard Israel, D-Ward 1 and Alderwoman Julie Stankivic, I-Ward 6, are each expected to introduce their own legislation at the Feb. 12 council meeting.
