On Jan. 5, after a full day of dance classes and performing at Goucher College, the Annapolis High School Dance Company earned the highest team honor: the 2007 Showcase Award for Performance and Professionalism. It was their first trip to the Maryland High School Dance Showcase.
Although the company includes 22 dancers, the winning routine featured eight dancers, seven girls and one boy and included a duet section.
