Thirty-seven million Americans watched the first two nights of this season's "American Idol." Significantly fewer - about 100 - turned out to watch the semifinals for "Annapolis Idol," held at Annapolis High School on Thursday evening. Find Us On Facebook
Inspired by the hit TV show, "Idol" fever is spreading among county schools. Versions have been staged recently at Old Mill, Severna Park and Glen Burnie high schools. The Annapolis edition, which concludes with a performance by the finalists on Jan. 30, is a fundraiser for the school's chorus.
