Scottie Preston tells stories, carrying on a family tradition.As the tale goes, a young African-American woman living in Massachusetts was visiting her grandmother, a former slave living in Virginia. Upon her arrival, she was presented with lunch - a simple traditional meal of corn pone, maybe along with some sort of molasses or syrup for a little flavoring. The offering was refused.
