When students at St. John's College flick on their TVs, or when tutors power up their computers, they'll be supporting giant windmills miles and miles away. The small Annapolis college has started buying "renewable energy certificates" that support wind power. It costs a bit more, but college President Christopher B. Nelson said the environmental benefits are worthwhile. "This is actually a relatively low cost alternative.
