Have you found your basket and decided on the fresh flowers for the traditional May Day decoration on your door or gateway for Tuesday? Be sure to have the basket up for judging by 10 a.m. Eastport will conduct its 11th annual May basket competition with ribbons awarded in three categories: residential, commercial and entries by children 12 or under, said Linda Larson. The Eastport committee will gather at its annual May Day headquarters, Davis' Pub on Chester Avenue, at 10 a.m., and the committee will judge from 10:15 to noon.
