Not satisfied with recent fire sprinkler legislation passed by the City Council, one alderman is introducing a bill that would require the devices even when a building is undergoing relatively minor rehab. Find Us On Facebook
Alderman Richard Israel, D-Ward 1, said he plans to introduce a bill at Monday's council meeting that would require sprinkler systems to be installed in all newly constructed buildings and as part of any renovations of 10 percent or more on commercial buildings.
