This spill was discovered at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday and was stopped by 12:10 p.m., said Matt Diehl, customer relations manager for the county's Department of Public Works.
Kerry Topovksi, the county's director of environmental health, said the pumping station stopped pumping and overflowed.
Mr. Diehl said the problem had to do with the control system, but that crews are still investigating what went wrong.
