The governor of the Al-Anbar Province, Mamoon S. Rashid Al-Alwani, along with five Iraqi sheiks from the southern and eastern provinces of Iraq, met with Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown, making this the second meeting between Mr. Brown and Mr. Al-Alwani in just over six months.
The Iraqi delegation visited Annapolis as part of the U.S. Department of State's International Visitor Leadership Program, which aims to introduce foreign leaders to American politics and government.
