Third Boys, Girls Club to open in AnnapolisPublished 07/21/08
A new Boys and Girls Club will open in the Admiral Oaks subsidized housing community in Annapolis next week, club officials announced this morning. "This will give them an outlet they haven't had before, both the children and the parents," said Brent Boone, who on July 1 was elected president of the board of directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. "The parents will have a trusted program they haven't had before, and I'm sure that will give them some peace of mind," he said. "And the children will have somewhere to go besides just hanging...
