Spooky organ music could have set a proper tone for last week's Halloween parties, but it's the instrument's ability to send sacred music soaring that has the congregation abuzz at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

St. Paul music director, Charles Ames, sits at the console of the specially modified pipe organ at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The organ was made to fit inside the A-frame structure of the church’s cathedral ceiling. The public is invited to a free dedication concert at 3:30 p.m. Nov. 16 at the church, 31 Roscoe Rowe Blvd., Annapolis.Members of the church on Rowe Boulevard have been delighting in the rich, full sound of their new pipe organ since it was installed in September, and they want to share their experience with the community by holding a dedication concert Nov. 16.
