A painting of the iconic local landmark stretches nearly the entire height of the open, two-story entranceway at Jerry's Seafood at the Metropolitan.
It's the work of Joe Trasatti, 37, a newcomer to the professional art world and a relative of the restaurant's owners. Until recently, Mr. Trasatti was kicking tires as a sales manager at the family car dealership in Landover Hills, Prince George's County, where he had worked for the past 16 years.
