City leaders are tussling over a proposed $20,000 audit of the city Finance Department. In a closed-door meeting today, the City Council's Finance Committee was expected to reconsider its earlier rejection of an audit that would study the structure of the Finance Department. The audit was proposed by Mayor Ellen O. Moyer. The decision against the audit was made with one of the three finance committee members absent. What, Cordle and Shropshire didn't know what they were doing was wrong? Spare me - they did this for calculated reasons, just as Cordle has crammed, manipulated and foisted other flawed legislation on the city.
When will someone say, enough is enough?
