Around Annapolis: Consignment shop satisfies bargain shoppers

It's that time of year again - time to pull out my favorite party outfit from the far reaches of the closet.

I don't just love my silver satin pantsuit because of the way it makes me feel (great!) or because the jacket has ostrich feathers on the cuffs (fun!), I love it mostly because I got it for $25 at the Clothes Box, the consignment shop run by the Anne Arundel Medical Center Auxiliary.

I keep this little secret to myself when women in expensive designer dresses cross the room to exclaim over what I'm wearing. When that happens, it fills my heart with glee and puts a smirk on my face that lasts the rest of the...
