Hats off to the volunteers and students at West Annapolis for their endeavors. Knitting is a life-long hobby that is both creative and relaxing. And it's teaching the kids how to entertain themselves -- an art that I'm afraid is quickly dying! It's great that they are making things for themselves; hopefully they will also begin making things to donate to charities. Just another step in learning to give to others. Maybe they will hold a school-wide craft show? It would be fun to see their creations :)
