Around Crownsville: Rockbridge Class of 2009 helps each other

Each of the 11 graduating seniors in the Rockbridge Academy Class of 2009 has written and is prepared to defend a thesis. Each has been accepted into a four-year college, several with significant, merit-based scholarships.

But what really impresses Headmaster Michael McKenna about his sixth graduating class is their relationships.

"The bonding and fellowship that went on was really wonderful," he said.

"How much they care for one another and the students below them. This class gets it, that it's about serving people."
