For others, some visiting from Arden-on-the-Severn across the river, it was the Tom Lepson Band that lured them out.
"It's to mingle, to hang out with everybody, to watch all the kids have fun," said Jeremy Snowden, who moved to the community when he was 13 and came back as an adult.
"We're all buddies here."
