It's been a busy 10 years for the Church of the Holy Apostles in Gambrills - the county's youngest Catholic parish.

Each table represented a different area of the United States.Starting as a mission of Our Lady of the Fields Catholic church and with just 140 people at their first Mass on Oct. 3, 1999, the parish has swelled to 460 families and is outgrowing their office and Mass space at the School of the Incarnation on Symphony Lane. "This community is very strong," said Michele Dougherty, who planned the 10th anniversary celebration and works in the church's office. "(We wanted) to really affirm where we are."
