Alexis Somers discovered she'd won in an international design competition for photography only when a new fan tracked her down to borrow a print of the prize-winning photo. She was flabbergasted. "I was just starting out," the Arnold resident said. "I do not even really consider myself a photographer. I just started taking pictures in the past year."
