On the Broadneck Peninsula, there are two recreational sports leagues with rivalries that go back decades.
Nicole, a Broadneck High School senior, has played for Cape St. Claire's Soccer Club since fifth grade, but is also a coach for the Broadneck Athletic Youth Soccer under-13 girls' team alongside longtime coach Chris Nemarich.
"He sent out an e-mail last year asking for a parent to help, and I responded," she explained.
She's not a parent, but she's fitting into the coaching niche nicely.
