Just before Halloween, Steve Tisinger stepped out of town for five days, dropping into a world of poverty, hunger and devastation. Along with Sally Shirill and Betsey Jenkins of Annapolis, Bill and Bonnie Clarke of Cockeysville and Tom Eastman of Baltimore, he was there to help bring relief to the residents of three villages striken by Hurricane Stan: Ixtapa, Tecpan and Patzun. The Rev. Tisinger, 53, is the youthful pastor of Christ Our Anchor Presbyterian Church, located just off College Parkway.
