AACC course offers military helpPublished 09/29/07
Space is still available in a free course offered this fall at Anne Arundel Community College that gives military families tips on handling issues they may face when their soldier returns home.
"Reunited: Family Life After Deployment" (FON 359) is free for all service personnel and their spouses or significant others, thanks to the Friends of The Parenting Center scholarship program. The course meets from 7 to 9 p.m. Mondays, Oct. 1-22, on the Arnold campus.
Leading the group will be Dr. Bruce Turnquist, a clinical psychologist in private practice since 1994 and a former Army psychologist and chief of psychology at Kimbrough...
