A little bit of NASCAR - with a touch of Barbie flair - came to the Broadneck Peninsula earlier this month. Though billed as an event for area Girl Scouts, it was really a daddy-daughter day at the races. Find Us On Facebook
One hundred fifty-six Girl Scouts of all ages, towing a parent or two, and occasionally an entire family, showed up in the cavernous multipurpose space shared by Severn and Magothy River Middle Schools in Arnold. The Girl Scouts were clutching tiny pinewood cars painted and primed to compete.
