Around Broadneck: Broadneck High School teacher returns from China

Right about now, Broadneck High School history teacher Brian Hussey could eat a whole box of fried scorpions. Yum!

It's one of the culinary habits he picked up wandering the night market stalls in Beijing last month. He won't be tempted to try the fat, fried worms again - too crispy on the outside and yucky-tasting on the inside. 

Mr. Hussey teaches three subjects: AP World History, U.S. History and Comparative Religions. He is married to Amy Hussey, assistant principal at Severn River Middle School and has two sons, Nathan, 9, and Will, 3. They live in Centreville, a 35-minute commute for Mr. Hussey.
