TOP: Broadneck High social studies instructor Brian Hussey, a Centreville resident, is standing on a portion of the Great Wall of China as it snakes through the mountains beyond Beijing.BOTTOM: Mr. Hussey enjoys a piece of cake with a woman celebrating her birthday near the Great Wall of China. It's one of the culinary habits he picked up wandering the night market stalls in Beijing last month. He won't be tempted to try the fat, fried worms again - too crispy on the outside and yucky-tasting on the inside. Mr. Hussey teaches three subjects: AP World History, U.S. History and Comparative Religions. He is married to Amy Hussey, assistant principal at Severn River Middle School and has two sons, Nathan, 9, and Will, 3. They live in Centreville, a 35-minute commute for Mr. Hussey. The...
