AuthorMary Ellen Hughes of Gambrills will hold a book-signing for her newest novel, "String of Lies," the second in her Craft Corner mystery series.
The signing will take place at the Annapolis Harbour Center's Barnes & Noble at 7 p.m. Thursday.
"I just always liked to read, but I didn't think I could make a living writing fictional books," said Mary Ellen, who has had various stories published in the Saturday Evening Post and local newspapers. She also lays claim to short stories published in several mystery magazines and two hardback mystery novels - "Resort to Murder" and "A Taste of Death." "String of Lies" takes place...
