"I just always liked to read, but I didn't think I could make a living writing fictional books," said Mary Ellen, who has had various stories published in the Saturday Evening Post and local newspapers. She also lays claim to short stories published in several mystery magazines and two hardback mystery novels - "Resort to Murder" and "A Taste of Death."
