Chien Vuong, owner of Vuong's Martial Arts on Route 3 in Crofton, recently held a free seminar for children on how to deal with bullies in a non-violent way.
Courtesy photoVuong’s Tae Kwon Do Center offered a free Bully Buster seminar recently to help kids learn how to deal with bullies in a non-violent way. Here the group practices a few self-defense techniques to help build self-confidence. The Bully Buster seminar was co-sponsored by the Greater Crofton Rotary Club. When Mr. Vuong was age 7, his mother and two younger siblings moved to North Carolina from Vietnam. He was smaller than most kids his age and spoke very little English.
