Crofton Cub Scout Pack No. 731 ran its Pinewood Derby Saturday at Crofton Elementary School. Top finishers will race in the District Pinewood Derby at Westfield Annapolis mall at noon, Feb. 7.

Scouts from the Bears Den of Cub Scout Pack No. 731 cheer on their cars during the pack’s annual Pinewood Derby at Crofton Elementary last weekend.Pack No. 731 has been around since 1977. It is the largest in the Baltimore Area Council's Capitol District with approximately 125 members. Scouts are divided up into dens of five ranks: first-grade Tigers, second-grade Wolves, third-grade Bears, fourth-grade Webelos I, and fifth-grade Webelos II.
