Teen attends music workshop at White House

Odenton resident and Baltimore School of Arts sophomore Nana Adjeiwaa-Manu, an aspiring cellist and pianist, got the lesson of a lifetime when she was invited to the White House to attend a classical music workshop taught by world-class master musicians.
The budding Odenton musician joined some of the world's best musicians on Nov. 4 at the White House to take part in a historic classical music workshop hosted by President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.
"I was really shocked. It took me a while to get settled in," Adeiwaa-Manu, 15, said.
A sophomore at the Baltimore School of the Arts, she joined senior BSA guitarist David Kalwa as two of the 120 students from around the country to attend the workshop...
