The community of Chapman Farms came together early this past Saturday evening to bid a fond farewell to summer. Held at the community park in the neighborhood, families feasted on an array of barbecue foods. Much of the chatter during dinner focused on summer trips, fall sports and the start of school as parents and children compared teacher assignments for the coming year.
