William Ross Wallace wrote, "The hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rules the world." If that's the case, then the training ground for those hands are schools, volunteer activities, soccer games and birthday parties where mothers chat, share ideas and spin dreams. Two Crownsville moms found themselves conversing when their children attended South Shore Elementary. Katherine Carney and Marjorie Boyd discovered they shared a mutual interest in running and fitness.
