South Shore Elementary School's principal and quiet dynamo, Dr. Linda Ferrara, enthusiastically boosts her students, her teachers, and her school to everyone. As a leader she understands that no job is beneath her for the good of the school. That's why she was helping sweep up after lunch to get ready for a very special performance last Tuesday. Dr. Ferrara listened when kindergarten parent Dr. Laurie Donze presented an idea for an assembly. In her undergraduate days at Berkeley, Dr. Donze sang with the Cal Jazz Choir. The Choir sang some original works by a group that had just cut their first album - the BOBS.
