Retiring South Shore Elementary teacher is 'one of a kind'Published 06/13/08
A child's education is a series of relationships. Parents teach. Grandparents teach, but we focus on our teachers in school who teach our children. We want someone who is kind, nurturing, smart, energetic, creative and who challenges our children to do their best. Cindy Armstrong found that teacher. Daughter Ava, a fourth-grader, got a great start in kindergarten because of Julia Villanti. Mrs. Villanti, who teaches at South Shore Elementary School, is a 30-year veteran teacher of Anne Arundel County Schools.
