Around Crownsville: Students, faculty have big plans for new school yearPublished 08/29/08
Those who travel our roads in the mornings and afternoons may have noticed a change in the rhythm of Crownsville this week. Starting last Monday and continuing through next Tuesday, more than 1,500 children from pre-kindergarten through 12th grades are returning to four schools for the 2008-09 school year. South Shore Elementary started school Monday. Principal Linda Ferrara said their opening was "wonderful - it's great to have the children back."
