Since 1977, Don Yeskey has been the leading voice of the communities along Generals Highway. As president of the Generals Highway Council of Civic Associations, he has spent thousands of hours in community meetings, county council chambers, and treading the land around the historic roadway. In October, he decided after having worked so many years, to step aside for a new president, Richard Falk. BG&E put in tiny 3 foot high twigs every 5o yards!! To suggest that was "replanting" equal to the devastation that had been wreaked on the tree tops is a false equivalancy. Rather than bury the wires BG&E got away with taking the cheap way out...and at our expense.
