The day started out dark and drizzly, but soon turned sunny and bright. It could almost have been an omen for the ongoing "sister state" relationship between Queen Anne's County and the District of Suzhou, People's Republic of China.

At least that's how things seemed by the time the four member delegation arrived at Kent Island's Matapeake Middle School for a morning visit last week.
