Psychology:Being happy at work shouldn't be a full-time jobPublished 07/05/07
It is an unfortunate fact that most of us spend far more time at our work than we do with our loved ones or engaged in recreational activities that we enjoy. By comparison internationally, we are a country of workaholics, with Americans working harder and longer than the residents of almost any other country in the world. Based upon per capita work performed in our country, we may be at an all-time high in terms of individual productivity.
Of course, all of that work has a personal cost to it, especially if you aren't really happy with what you're doing.
