It's all for the kids. It was always for the kids. The horses? Forget about them. Hmm. Where have I heard this logic before? Ah, right. The war in Iraq was always about bringing freedom and democracy to the Middle East. The weapons of mass destruction? Forget about them. Say this for the people trying to sell slots to Maryland voters: If they're stealing tactics, they're stealing from the best. No More Lottery Then - August 21, 2008
Get rid of the lottery then. It takes money out of taxpayers pockets and I am sure there are people who spend their last dollar on a ticket. Oh yeah, the money goes to the stadium authority for upkeep of stadiums that should be cared for by the sport franchises' owners.
