Trying to understand where some people got the idea that the opposition to a new school in rural south county was a case of religious discrimination, I did some reading. Finally, I came across a quote at the end of an old article from The Capital that shed some light on the matter. In the 2006 story reporting the filing of a federal lawsuit, Kenneth Shuart of Galesville, who had hoped to send his son to the church school, said: "It's a rural area, and to bring a church in there and to bring traffic I will admit causes some (issues).
