So is it a good idea to allow Marylanders to ship out-of-state wines directly to their homes, as some state lawmakers want to do?
Opponents say the change could make it easier for underage people to get their hands on booze. Retailers and wholesalers also worry their business would be hurt, since anyone wanting to special-order wine from out of state must now have it shipped to a store - which gets its cut, of course.
As an ex-underage drinker - I think the statute of limitations is up on that, right? - let me share a few...

I agree 100%!! There are also some vineyards that are not carried by state distributors. So it would be nice to purchase these brands from the winery.
