Ninth Ward: Despite her failings, we owe Moyer our thanks for her years of service

Published 11/25/09

Whether one likes Ellen Moyer or not, she deserves many thanks for her long and dedicated career in public service. Yet many of us are thankful it is coming to an end.

Moyer has done many great things for Annapolis. Her list, and your article highlight her successes. And, you would be correct to also highlight her failures. This would be Fair and Balanced.

This was an attempt at praising Moyer for her accomplishments. A time to end the rancor. Naah, one more time to throw in snide asides, more like Fox TVs view of Fair and Balanced.

Moyer has done us all a great service.

But, I cant wait for December 7. I hope that you will give Josh a pass -- a honeymoon for a few weeks or months.
