Young professionals do actually meet face-to-face, not just on Facebook. Now that isn't to say we don't use Facebook - we do. We know it is a tool we can use to build our network as well as find opportunities to get involved in our community and connect with like-minded peers. And, okay, I will admit, we also use it to post pictures of ourselves looking spiffy at weddings. Many young professionals are seeking an opportunity to learn more about the community in which they live and to give back in a fun, meaningful and productive way.
