Q: My eight year old cat hasn't been eating much lately. When I took him to the veterinarian, she told me it looked like he had a resorptive lesion on one of his teeth. She said he wasn't eating well because he was in pain. I have him scheduled for a dental cleaning and extraction of the tooth. What could be the reason for this problem?
