Under a blazing sun, Del. Steve Schuh, a conservative Republican, and Sen. Paul Pinsky, a liberal Democrat, stood side by side.

The men, who are rarely political allies, were being honored because each scored 100 percent on the Maryland League of Conservation Voters' 2010 scorecard.

Schuh, who lives on Gibson Island and represents a north county district, said his score shows there is no conflict between being a Republican and being an environmentalist.

After all, he also got a score of 100 from Maryland Business for Responsive Government. (Pinsky, who represents Prince George's County, got a 38 from that...

It's not about the environment, it is about the "party", and the real goal (very often hidden in environmental bills) is control.

Simply stated, a bunch of politicians think they know better about what is and what isn't good for the environment and they use "NPO's" to do their bidding. And, if a politician does what is right in the eyes of the climate police, all is well and the wheels of power will stay firmly entrenched on their side.

Under good intentions, the ideology of this bunch has morphed into fascism and if you dare question them, they simply attack and demean and insinuate that you hate the environment and all things nature. Like, Reilly said, some bills dont make sense or are not worth the paper they are written on. Because, it is about power and control!

Well done - Del. Schuh - you're a real conservation sensation! A real Eco-Ranger, a waste spotting superstar!
