It is a brave person who will get up in front of a room full of elementary school students and talk about math, manganese and marketing. But that's just what author Richard LaMotte of Chestertown did on Thursday as he relayed his experiences writing and publishing "Pure Sea Glass," a new historic, aesthetic and scientific perspective on sea glass, to students at Central Elementary School in Edgewater.
