When your grandparents have been involved in a disaster the magnitude of Hurricane Katrina, you know you have to do something to help out. Stephanie Rogers of Riva heard a firsthand account of the devastation to the Gulf Coast from her grandparents in Mississippi, whose roof was severely damaged. A paper carrier for The Capital in Riva Farms, Stephanie decided to write a letter to her 60 customers requesting donations. Stephanie was hoping to receive $5 contributions for a total of $300.
