County officials didn't unveil a plan for the imperiled Annapolis-to-Deale bus at a public meeting last night. Instead, they came to listen.
Though only a handful of the 30 people who use the South County Connection each day showed up, they were passionate as they urged the county to keep the 3-year-old bus line rolling.
"We use it three times a week," said Karen Jewell of Deale, who took the bus to the meeting held in Edgewater.
She said she also uses the bus to take a retired neighbor to Annapolis for his doctor's appointments and business with the credit union. He apparently does not have the Medicare coverage...
