Around South County:Cheerleaders take top prize at Dallas

Heather Boyd, 23, is quick to point out that she'll soon be 24, and is at the heart of a team of local cheerleaders who recently went to Dallas to compete in the NCA All Stars Nationals against other All Star cheerleading teams.

Heather's squad walked away with the first place trophy.

Now their team, "Eye of the Storm" is a national champion. There is only one difference between this team and the hundreds of others at this competition - Eye of the Storm is a special needs All Star cheerleading squad.
