It wasn't until he was in college that Dr. Zaun Kligge knew for sure what he wanted to be in his professional life. The choice seems to be a good one because earlier this month, the Edgewater veterinarian was given the Good Doctor Award by the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association at their annual convention.

Dr. Ronald Sohn, executive director of the MVMA, said that there were dozens of entries submitted on behalf of hundreds of veterinarians across the state. I have not known Dr. Kligge very long, but he has given my cats excellent care, altho they only needed pretty basic treatments. An inviting aspect of South River Veterinary Hospital is that they are willing to use holistic techniques to treat animals.
