The Maryland Flyers, a competitive cheerleading team based in Millersville, gave up a Friday night in September to hang around a gymnasium. They weren't there to practice cheers or to work on dance routines, but to make a breakfast for a homeless person who might not have anything to eat the following morning. This outreach was part of their "Commitment to the Community Campaign." Since many organizations have a minimum age requirement, the group needed to find a community service project where the whole team could participate.
