Harvey Garcelon and Paul Bigby started the first Green Hornet teams in 1949 with a few boys and whatever money they had in their pockets. Sports equipment was usually kept in the trunks of their cars, and they played on whatever fields were available. Find Us On Facebook
Now the Green Hornets organization serves more than 5,000 children each year from the greater Severna Park feeder system. The programs the Hornets offer provide the opportunity for kids to be involved in any of 11 sports at varying levels of competition.
